CPE Formation Program Investment

Understanding Your Formation Investment

Community Care Chaplains is more than a Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) training center. We are a lifelong formation community committed to the personal, spiritual, and professional development of chaplains and caregivers.

Beginning with this enrollment cycle, your investment is organized into two complementary components:

CCC Premium Membership

CCC Premium Membership supports your ongoing participation in the CCC Formation Community. It includes access to Kintsugi Formation, mentor groups, community resources, continuing education, and the CCC Premium learning platform throughout your training.

CPE Unit Tuition

CPE Unit Tuition supports the educational requirements of your accredited Clinical Pastoral Education unit, including supervision, case conferences, didactic instruction, evaluations, and administrative support.

Together, these two components provide an integrated formation experience that combines community, mentorship, and professional clinical education.

CPE APPLICATION AND INSTRUCTIONS

Fill out the electronic form and submit it together with your essay materials.

ESSAY MATERIALS:

2. Personal Life 

Share your autobiography. A significant life events from your childhood to adulthood, and the influential people in your personal growth. Describe your family background, current family relationships, and key social connections. 

3. Spiritual Journey

Describe your spiritual growth and development. Include your initial spiritual orientation, personal conversions, call to spiritual care, religious or spiritual experiences, and individuals or events that shaped your spirituality.

4.  “Helping Incident”

Narrate an instance where you provided help. Explain the request, your assessment of the situation, your involvement, and actions taken. Offer a brief evaluation of your intervention and its impact.

5.   Impressions on CPE 

Share your understanding of CPE and whether it’s a requirement for you. State your learning objectives or issues to address in CPE. Describe how CPE can meet needs in your spiritual care practice or role in a values-based system. Specify current personal and professional learning goals and how CPE will address them.

6.   Admissions Interview

An admissions interview is an integral part of your application process. We will contact you as soon as we receive your application materials.
